Sharps box 1

Sharps box 1 is the first in the series and was made during my second attempt at egg retrieval.

Materials: IVF process waste including, but not limited to, injection needles, urine cups for ovulation test, Menopur mixing qcap, Follastin pen needle, Follastin viles; mirrors from dady bezos,glass mati beads bought in Athens 2023; blue mirror squares from a blue disco ball found as a ground score in DC Pride 2023; fake eyelashes that I inherited from my grandmother; drift wood from Assateague beach; plastic antler from Party City, first used in Maryland Ren Fest Costume in 2022; head from Caroline’s friend’s work storage unit, that I had tried to use for a gender exploration self portrait and then forgot about; plastic leaves from plastic flowers gotten from the Petworth Buy Nothing in 2022; sea fern found in Vieques Peurto Rico 2019.
