Heart - Womb connection
To make this sculpture I made a cast of my body and face out of plaster bandages. I did this laying down on my balcony by myself, eyes covered up with bandages, body immobilized in the cast. I then filled the body with the sonogram print outs that showed my growing follicles. With each injection of this round I focused on opening my heart, hoping to foster a partnership with my body.
